English 102

Welcome to the website for EN 102 Composition II - the second course in Marymount's first year composition program. Composition II builds on the skills introduced in Composition I and provides extensive practice in research, analysis, and argument as students develop their skills in research, writing, and oral communication. As the subject of its reading, writing, and research, each section will focus on the issues and concerns of an American 20th century decade: the 1900s, 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, or 1970s.

To explore these issues and facilitate communication and research, the course has online resources devoted to its activities. This web site supports the revised Composition II program. Separate Blackboard sites support each individual section of the course.

For information and resources useful to all Composition II students, use the menu on the left to navigate. For additional information about your particular section - assignments, due dates, and weekly schedule - use the Blackboard link to access your section.
